Stay in control - Enjoying alcohol

14 drinks a week will cost you around £2000 a year.
Alcohol can play a part in a good night out by helping people to relax, be more sociable and more confident.

Alcohol is enjoyed as part of social occasions and celebrations and it has been proven that a small amount of alcohol can actually be good for you. However, on average Glasgow men drink 33% more than those in the rest of Scotland and Glasgow women drink on average 10% more than those in the rest of Scotland.

In order to make sure that you enjoy alcohol without it having a negative effect on your health, there are a few easy steps you can introduce:

Enjoying alcohol
